no trunk lid lights

Hello all, hope for some good advice here , 99' cavalier @ I have all lights working except trunk lid lights (back-ups work) no parking or brakes lights , have 12 volts on all wires , can't splice , only 2 wires on trunk lid light bulbs @ 3 on car body light bulbs ? could it be in steering column ? turn switch ?.

if you have 12 volts at the bulb sockets, either the bulbs are burnt out or the grounds are bad
