hey guys im new to this forum but not to the car scene. i have a 96 z24 and it did the typical oil pump issue and now has a lower rod knock due to oul starvation, still drivable tho. im going to buy a new motor and put it in i was just wondering what years are compatible with mine and which motor would be the best to buy. did they fix the oil pump issues in the later years that will fit my car without modification? here is my car. it used to be complete and beautiful until someone backed into me and left the scene. will be back to perfect soon. thanks for any input guys.

Based on these links the closer to 2002 the better. If your dealing with a junk yard they have access to a Hollander Interchange guide which will indicate what years work with a 96.
