I am looking at buying a 65 Nova SS. I found one and it looks pretty good to me. But I thought I would ask the guys that really know.

He said the interior needs to be redone. It has a 283, with a powerglide.
It runs strong. No rust or bondo issues.

He gave me partial VIN of 118375N.

He is asking $10,000. He told me he turned down $7500 and $7800. So I am shooting for $8000-$8500. Is that about right?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ten grand seems pretty high to me since there's nothing special about it, but I'm a cheap bastard. Bottom line is what you're willing to pay and what he's willing to take. Personally, I wouldn't go above $7,500 for that thing, but that's just me.

That is the VIN of a 1965 Nova SS with a V8. Look at www.collectorcarmarket.com to price it. Dont forget how much difficulty you may run into trying to find parts to complete the car and the cost of those parts if you find them.
