Hello Guys, just picked a new 2011 Silverado with a 5.3, I'm thinking about adding dual exhaust,, is there any difference in the sound because of that 4,6,8, changing of the motor,,,

I too was wondering about that, i looked into it a little bit and i dont think it will affect the exhaust itself. In drive at a stoplite the truck will idle in 8 cyl. it doesnt cut to four cyl untill you have maintained speed and RPM for about 45-60 seconds. so unless your on a good straight away road at a steady speed or on the highway you should get that nice throaty sound.
