Ok so here is my problem.... I bought a 350 that I know came out of a 70's vette. What I don't know is if it was original to the car or if it may have been a donor at some point before. These are all the numbers that I have found on it:
ID code ( I think anyway)- T1002CMR
Vin Code( again ?)- 14P438897
Casting date- H23 73
Casting #- 3970014 (looks like 0814 but i cant find a ref for that so I assume 0014 is correct)
Also on a side note I am wondering what the T1 and Conv 2 stamps represent, and there is a N68 stamped above the oil filter
