Need a Power Boost

All,

I have a 2007 Suburban 2500, 6L gas with 4.10 rear. I was towing a 33ft Outback travel trailer (10000lbs or so) in Colorado last summer and almost burned up both engine and transmission getting up those hills. I would appreciate any specific suggestions to improve the power and torque. And yes I know the obvious one... buy a diesel.

Intake system, and exhaust system first if thats not enough go with a programmer like Edge products or superchips something like that.
