hose put on his car, then we? found out that he needed a master cylinder. The guy install all of these parts and when he put the master cylinder on the brake pedal still went straight to the floor. Can someone tell me how he could get the brake pedal to rise up. Or what he could have done wrong.
 
Sometimes the master needs to be bled off the car on the bench, I assuming this person did this. It sounds like there is air in the lines, the previous answers covered that. The only thing really missing is.. does the car have ABS? I've seen air get trapped in the ABS pump. Sometimes they have their own bleed screws as well. Good luck.

... Oh, unless it's like the old W-body cars, and you don't get a decent brake pedal until the rear brakes seize up. I doubt that's the case here. ;)
