My Chevy Malibu 2000 dash board is showing that I am low on radiator fluid,...

...but my plastic tank is full. help? I have a plastic tank on the left side of the engine that has a plug (or sensor) that plugs into it. When I unplug it, the radiator symbol on my dash board goes away. When I plug it back in, it shows back up, but my tank is full. Do I have to replace the whole plastic tank for this one sensor or is there anything else I can do?

There's a ball in the coolant tank that gets stuck from whatnot, Its either that in which case you have to replace the tank I'm pretty sure. smack the tank a few times and see if the light goes off

You can take the sensor out and clean it. If that doesn^t work, replace the sensor.

The sensor is probably bad. Just get a new on and it should work fine.
