to fix this problem? I've already replaced the brake light switch and it wasnt that. Ive also replaced the bulbs and checked the fuses, all are good. I don't know what to do and brake lights are very important. I dont have the money to have it looked at otherwise I would do that but I'm a broke college student. So Im trying to fix this myself. ANY suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated, thanks alot!!

If the turn signals and brake light bulbs use the same filament you may have a bad turn signal switch. If the rear turn signals have an amber lens or bulb they are separate and that won't be the problem.
Did you adjust the brake light switch properly? Jump the wires to make sure.

Get a test light, find if it lights at the brake switch. If not check fuse. A simple test light can prove your problem. If your test light lites at brake switch, jump the switch with paper-clip, continue your search with test light to the rear. luv ser

after you install the brake light switch you have to adjust it. it sounds to me like it needs adjusted.
