My 98' Chevy Silverado ran out of gas, I put enough gas in it to make it back up to the gas station. When I went to start it up all it did was crank over. I listened to hear the fuel pump engauge, but I dont hear it. All it does is turn over. Is there a relay switch that I have to mess with? Or did I burn my fuel pump up? Please help!

You likely ruined the fuel pump by running it low on fuel. These pumps in any newer car, whether Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Toyota, etc, are cooled by the fuel in the tank. You need to keep a 1/4 tank or more in them at all times. So if you keep it at above 1/4 tank, and change the fuel filter once a year, you will likely never need another fuel pump. Go with the OE style replacement, and you probably won't ever have a problem again. At 1/4 tank it's empty! Goodluck.
