my 98' chevy malibu has spark and fuel pressure but won't start?

Is the theft light on? These GM ignition switch designs that are in the dash vs the column are notorious for faulty ignition switches and cylinders.

i have the same car and it's more than likely the theft system. you need to turn the car onto accessory or on ( i can't remember which) and let it sit until the theft light on the left side of the dash stops blinking. then turn the ignition off for a few seconds and then the car should start right up. i had the same issue about 3 weeks ago and she's drove like a charm since. (except for the head gaskets blowing) lol
