My 92 corvette hard starting problem?

i have a 92 corvette which i havent had it tuned up for almost 2 years now. I just replaced my battery a couple of weeks ago and my question is......... when the new battery was installed my corvette starts real good then after 2 weeks i noticed when i warmed up the car the car tends to have a hard starting problem. does anyone know why im having a hard starting problem? what could be the cause? would it be my O2 sensors? i havent pass the smog yet due to a high emission problem.
I noticed one more thing, whenever the car is in idle then i suddenly pressed the gas pedal and release it, i heard some electronic soundlike crack noise but would be gone after 1 second and im sure its coming from the engine compartment. And when i turned off the engine i heard the electronic soundlike crack too but just real quick as soon i turned the engine off. does anyone know what could be the problem?

old spark plug wires, there probally cracked, old gas- need to add stabill tofresh gas when stored,,,cap and rotor culd be the culprit....but wires are robally a fault...is this a cab engine r fuel enjectd......ct converter culd be plugged.....check 02 sensorsalso
