well if it cranks over,then its not the starter.if you see no fuel going into the engine,try spraying some starter fluid into it then try starting it.if then it does want to start,its probably the fuel pump.
it must be spark then. check to see if your getting spark at the plugs. it could be the module or the coil. my oldsmobile did that once and it was the module.
Why in heaven's name did you replace the starter if it was cranking over OK? I can understand not wanting to spend the money to get an experienced technician to take a look at it - but it sound's like you're going to spend even more throwing parts at it.
You must determine if you have a fuel or an ignition problem - if there's no fuel in the carburetor, you might want to start by checking the fuel filter and then check the fuel pressure at the carburetor.
