My Car Only Heats Up While Im Stopped It Goes A Little Passed The Middle Line Then Goes Back To Normal Once I Start Moving. How Do I Fix This Problem I Would Appreciate If Anyone Could Give Me Advice As To How To Fix It. Then My Ac Went Out. Im Just Having Bad Luck.

Hi,Have your cooling system checked. They will test it and see what the problem area is on it.Have A.C. checked also, this way you will know where you stand on these problems.Good Luck

This is normal and not a problem.

As the saying goes, if it isn't broken, don't fix it.

Normal operating temperature for this engine is between about 190F to 220F. You say the gage is at about the middle which is about 220F, which is still within normal operating range. At about 220F, the electric cooling fan on the radiator will start and continue to run until the temperature is about 210F. The engine is not considered overheated until it is about 250F where the gage is in the red.

This car is only 2 years old and should still be covered by the factory warranty. If you really think this is a problem, let the dealer look at it. But they will tell you the same ting I did.

However, some unscrupulous mechanics will fix it for you, even though nothing is wrong, just to make a fast buck.
