I recently blew out the rear transmission, and had that fixed at the shop. A few days after, I was unable to start it.
I bought a new battery, and the truck worked fine for about two days. Now when I turn the ignition, I have no power, no lights turn on. Nothing. When I jump it from another car, the lights turn on, it turns over, but once I take off the jumper cables, the truck dies. I'm having a hard time believing this would be a starter problem. Let me know what you think

sounds like a battery cable problem.......and yea it cud b a starter problem since GM starters have amp draw problems.....

First thing I tell anybody is, take the battery out and have an auto parts store check it. That rules out the battery as the problem.
