Looking into buying a muscle car, which of these has or will have the most aftermarket mods available? Also, Ive never owned any domestic before ... which would be the most reliable?
I have $40k ... down payment. That's right.

2010 Mustang definitely has the best quality of any muscle car, JD Power and Associates has ranked the Mustang as the highest midsize sporty car in initial quality since 2007 (those were the "Put the Pedal to our Medals" ads from a couple years back).

And, while the Mustang has less power than either the Challenger or Camaro, it is well over 800 pounds lighter than either, which more than makes up for it.

Mustang is least reliable and cheapest and has worst quality and least amount of power.

Camaro or GTO are best choices. Most bang for your buck. And generally reliable too.

Pontiac is dead so no GTO ,GM , Chrysler are in trouble and may have to scale back plans on pony cars .also GM BROKE UP TEAM THAT MADE CAMARO .SO LOOKS LIKE NOT TO MANY MUSCLE CARS FROM GM ,ONLY VETTE.

I like the looks of the new camero, but with it just coming out you'll have to pay more than sticker price. That just doesn't seem right. I'm not much of a mopar fan, and I don't care for the Gto , so that leaves the Mustang which is very cool. I do like the body style with the shaker hood the best. I am curios if you actually have the funds for this or if your just dreaming like a lot of us.

What ever you buy don't get a GTO. My husband and his brother has one and its a piece of crap. They had to make alot of adjustments to it and they are both so sorry they ever bought one.
