I've had multiple issues with my 2009 Traverse and am wondering if its just my vehicle? I purchased mine in August 2009 and have about 41,000 miles on it. Since I've owned the car I have had to replace or repair: the intake solenoid, power steering gear, camshaft timing chain, steering rack, left side valve cover, both seat heaters, water pump, steering gear housing, rear back up sensor. The camshaft position sensor had to be inspected due to check engine light and the solenoids had to be switched due to check engine light. I now have another oil leak they are trying to diagnose. I also often have a gasoline smell when the A/C is on that can't seem to be replicated. I also find the car to be sluggish which is never replicated at the dealer either. It seems that with every alert GM puts out about an issue with the Traverse, it has happened to my car.

Per GM's advice I started going to another dealer that I'm happy with, but I'm still having issues. I just can't believe these problems are 'normal' for a 3 year old car. I have been in for service more times that I can count. I don't feel safe driving this car long distances for fear the check engine light will come on at any minute. I'm glad I purchased an extended warranty but you buy that never thinking you will have to use it as much as I have.
