Hey new to the forum here. Just bought a 2012 z71 40k on miles. Driving to work offshore and check engine light comes on. Pull into autozone and they say the code is saying #1 cylinder misfire. Truck is running great. Just drove 4 1/2 hrs and drove fine. Earlier today my dash said service 4wd and then went off and never came back. Just trying to get any input on if anyone else is maybe having these issues. Will be gone for 21 days until I can drive it home and get her checked out. Also will it hurt anything with that misfire on that cylinder. Thanks for any help

Johnny

The code P0301, I assume that that was the code, has a number of reasons. Depending on how much driving you do the engine will be emitting unbrunt fuel from that cylinder which may cause the catalytic converter to overheat.

It might help to know just what engine you're referring to.
