MGB convertible vs. Corvette ?

Im getting my first car soon and i was thinking of either an MGB convertible or corvette from the early 70's since those are my favorite. Are the MGB;s too small and dagerous for a first car, and are the Corvette's too much to manage, like the tires andd stuff .

You are comparing apples and oranges. The MGB will be much more difficult to work with when trying to find parts. The Corvette is a Chevy and almost any parts store will carry something for it not to mention the massive aftermarket that exists keeping them going. The MGB is a light, nimble, low powered traditional sports car. The Vette, especially the early 70's optional engines, can be extremely fast and handle well when considering how much they weigh.
