Two weeks ago I bought a 99 suburban 1500 with the 5.7engine. I've put about a thousand miles on it now and love it. 250k miles and runs drives and rides great. Bought it to tow my camper with and beat around town. I'm finding that I'm driving it everywhere. I wasn't going to put any money in it, but now I'm looking at dressing it up and installing some new video GPS radio contraption. Brush guard LED headlights etc. Fell right into a project. Wife is gonna love that.
