Loose power after 20 minute drive.

I have 2000 Chevy suburban with almost 300 K miles. Recently I have been having a problem with power. After I drive for about 25 minutes I loose power and stop, but after turning engine off and letting it rest for 10-15 minutes it again runs good for another 25 minutes and then stop again. I took it to a mechanic but diagnostics came up with no code. I changed oil, oil filter and fuel filter but problem is still there. Please advise.
 
You have to determine what the issue is during the time it will not start, is it lack of fuel or lack of spark. Lack of fuel could be fuel pump, pump relay, etc. Ingition could be coil or other electronic component.
 
Actually it keep running but does not have power to move. It has no RPM.
 
If you put the vehicle in park and step on the gas will it go to 2000 RPM? If you then put it in drive and step on the gas what exactly happens?
 
When I start, initially it has good RPM going over 4000 in park and in drive too. When it stops, I know it has no RPM at park and in drive also it has no RPM but I will verify when it gives me problem next time.
 
I'm not a mechanic, but it sounds to me like you have a restriction in the exhaust. Either the catalytic converter or muffler could be clogged. Get under the vehicle with a rubber mallet or hammer, and tap on them and see if you hear them rattling inside.
 
I will do that. I think that if there was any restriction in exhaust or catalytic converter, it should not run good for 25 minutes and then stop. looks like when it heats up, problem starts. Can it be related to transmission?
 
I've seen that happen with clogged catalytic converters. Neither vehicle I'm thinking of was a domestic, but still, an internal combustion engine is still an internal combustion engine, no matter who builds it. One vehicle in question was a Geo Metro and the other was a close friends Honda Accord. Both had over 200,000 miles on the original cat cons. Your problem could be tramsmission related, I suppose. If you have an overdrive automatic, maybe the torque converter lockup switch is faulty. You can check that by simply unplugging it, if that's what you have. I have also seen control modules go bad when they get hot and then resume working once they cool off. You can have that tested at your local Autovancereilly.
