New member here, so sorry if I missed a previous post about this. I tried searching several terms, and got nothing for results, so here goes:
I'm trying to add in LED strips to use in the interior of my 2004 Cavalier Sedan w/ 2.2 Ecotech. That is simple. The thing is, I want them to have three settings on a switch: Constant on, constant off, and flashing with bass. I have heard I need an LED controller, which I am trying to avoid, if possible. I also read that a TIP31 transistor can be used instead. Any help from someone with experience in this, or with Cavalier wiring would be great.
