key fob question

I had a strange thing happen to me this morning. I dropped my keys in the recycle bin and, without realizing it, drove my daughter to school. Once at school I turned to acc and listened to the radio. When I realized that I didn't have the fob, I opened the door to look for it. I was able to step on the brake pedal and the truck started up. How was that possible when I was 4 miles away??

What year is the vehicle?
How do you turn to Acc on a keyless start vehicle?
Do you have a second FOB and know where it is located?
Is this a used vehicle and there is a lost FOB somewhere inside?

The truck is a 2022. The spare key fob was at home. The truck was running and I hit the keyless start button to put it on the acc setting which shuts off the engine and allows the radio to continue to play. How I was able to re-start the vehicle w/o the key fob in the truck is a mystery to me. Both key fobs were 4 miles away.

Have you tried that at home, start the vehicle, bring the FOB inside, stop the engine and try a restart

Yup, I sure did. It worked as it should have. I don't have a clue as to what happened.
