How do I hate thee, oh HHR? Let me count the ways: It's had a noise in the rear end since I bought it but no one can find the source of the noise. The key is hard to turn on. The right side wheel bearing assembly went out prematurely. The paint on the hood has developed giant cracks in it. The electric mirrors stopped working. The outside temperature thermometer shows 63 degrees on a 90 degree day. The air conditioner has started to blow warm air intermittently. Now it sounds like maybe the left side wheel bearing assembly is starting to go out. And, I have a feeling the gas gauge isn't working right. I'm breathlessly awaiting further developments. Anyone else have such problems?

Our store has sold 30 HHR's with few problems. The paint should be covered by your warranty up to 5 years or 100000 miles. I am sorry you seem to have gotten a bad one but remember cars are made by men and you will have some issues. As long as the rear end noise was noted before the warranty runs out you can get some hlp there if anything does come of it.

Wow sorry to hear your HHR has been so bad. I have owned a red one since 2007 and have had no problems. Its getting me great gas mileage, everything is working fine and I would buy another one at this point.I hope you bought yours new so that warranty will cover these problems.

Funny you are posting this because I just had one as a rental on a recent trip to NJ and I said to myself "How can chevy be happy with this product and expect people to buy it'?

Everything seemed to work right, but I hated the ride, all of the blind spots and the controls.

sorry fo all the problems is it under warranty if not your going to have to be a potty mouth good luck
