The same design engineer was wooed to GM and voila,a new car based on the Cobalt. What I seek is owners of the PT and HHR and give thier impressions good or bad, thanks for your time and I do appreciate your answers that will help me deside on which car will replace my 98 Chevy Metro. Peace,Warchild

well if you want a neon go ahead and get the PT Cruiser. That is vertually what you would be buying only with a different body. The HHR looks so much better and it isn't a glorified neon.

I loved our Cruiser, it was fun to drive and fairly comfortable for me but I am 6-4. I can't stand it when people say that it's a glorified Neon. That is like saying a Mustang was a glorified Falcon or someting. It's not a neon, its built on a noen platform just like every other car manufacturer has done in the past and still does. We needed a bigger car that is why we got rid of it, I want another one only next one will be a turbo. Compared to the HHR there is not alot of difference in hp. The Cruiser has like 1 cubic foot of storage space more than the HHR. Personally I like the looks of the PT better. We have no complaints about the car and would buy another one.

No, the PT Cruiser gets better miles to the gallon, and they ride better, and they look better too, especially the new convertibles.

Both are lame. Get a car that is actually fun to drive... even something practical and fairly cheap like a matrix or a civic. Hey they much better than either will ever be.
