Car: 2001 Z24 Cavalier
Backstory: I installed an aftermarket stereo in my wifes car a few days ago. Upon finishing install, the stereo worked great but the car would not turn over. When attempting to start, I hear a beep coming from the dash and the fuel pump does sound like it is building pressure.
On looking under the hood, I hear the same beep when i pull/replace the ignition fuse. I have checked both ignition fuses and they seem to be fine.
At first I though I tripped the alarm system, disabling the car, but this does not seem to be the issue as the alarm light goes off about 5 seconds after turning the key to "run".
I removed the new stereo and bypass module but the same problem persists. Any help fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated.
