I'm looking at a chevy avalanche with 163,000 miles on it is that bad?

Thinking about buying a new truck a 2002 chevy avalanche it has 163,000 miles on it should I buy it thanks need to know asap its 5.3 Z66 4 X 4
they are asking 7500 plus interest also

Wow that's a lot of miles put on that vehicle in so little time when you think about how the average driver drives only 15,000 miles a year, so that's an obvious sign that someone has been using that vehicle quite a bit and more then likely if its not been used or a business then it's been leased out or a rental vehicle or been used by a big family or for trips etc.



Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way unless you get it dirt cheap and have it fully checked over for certification , smog and even engine compression tested and transmission checked fully etc, I'd not buy it.
