Hi guys I'm new to the forum. I have a basic idea of what to do with a rebuild of a 1972 Chevy Nova. I've been planning to do this for a few years now. I am hoping you can help me out with some feedback on how much this will cost and what it will entail so that I can do this correctly. This is by no means a light undertaking. I'm just like my grandpa, when it comes to cars I tend to lean towards excess.
Basically my idea buy a 1972 Chevy Nova SS. Even if it's just the frame. And start building from there, completely redo the interior and exterior (I will post my ideas on what specific items I want) so far I have a color scheme in mind of a jet black paint job with orange trim. Then reverse the inside with it being mostly orange and trimmed in black. Other than that so far I want Quad Glasspack Cherry Bomb mufflers on it and I want to find a way to stuff a 572 cubic inch motor under the hood
And 800HP sounds awful nice
I realize there isn't much detail to this post. If you have any questions or want me to clarify anything feel free to say so. One of my main concerns is how much this will cost, along with how to rig it so that it can be driven safely.
