coolant. Is it my water pump? I drove my car for about 25 minutes this afternoon. After parking the car, I went outside and observed about a 4 foot long stream of coolant leaking from it and it was dripping about 6-8 drops of coolant per 10 seconds. It was definitely coolant. The guys at AutoZone think it's probably my water pump. Can anyone help me??? By the way, my low coolant light never came on although this is the 1st time I've ever seen it leak.

A water pump that's going out would leak when you park the car,,it may leak today then not leak for a few days when it's first starts to go out,It usually leaks once the pressure is built up in the coolant system..Like i said it might do this for some time before it finally goes all the way out, don't wait to long before you have it replaced are you might find yourself on the side of the roadwhen you don't want to be.
