it harm engine? I recently took off my catalyst converters off my truck because i wanted better airflow and the sound, but my question is will it harm my engine or any engine components later on down the road?
well i havent took them off but i was wondering wjat will happen??

It won't, but your car will run rich and get a cel if the rear o2 sensors notice it. Many sports cars run an o/r h which is the midpipe without the cats.

and what do you plan to do with the o2 sensor ? just toss it in the trash? , and this will sure do something to the computer, which will probably throw a engine light. I suggest you do research on your vehicle, since the cat is not hurting your performance. Many people do not realize this, and no auto shop will take it off for you, so what reason would you want to make sure your car fails smog??
