I need to know about an 84 Corvette.?

I have a beautiful 1984 Gold Corvette that I bought for my 17 year old son. I am trying to find out if the emblem on the rear is all black or had a gold inlay in the middle. I don't believe that it is all flat black. If somebody that is knowledgeable about this could help me I would be extremely greatful.

if you are referring to the word CORVETTE on the back it is black.
