...for rich). should i feel bad? I feel bad because first of all. I'm a 28 year old guy, i'm a simple guy and shy and I'm poor.. I'm even unemployed now and all the jobs i've had are simple low wage temp jobs. And then my father all of a sudden buys a car that usually rich people buy and then he's going to give it to me( BUT I HAVE TO MAKE PAYMENTS ) and i'm not even rich and when i get a job , i'm not an enginner or anything so i only have low wage jobs and i won't be able to pay. I already have another car to pay and school loans etc.

My father is addicted to cars i guess.. But all of the burden of paying for them, i will have to do because my father is old already ...will soon stop working and etc.

Plus i dont feel good driving in a car that's usually for rich. It's just not me. i'm a simple person.

should i just shut up and enjoy it and pay OR if my father gives it to me can i sell it, later on and not have to pay?

60000 dollars.. I'm a poor guy, how in the heck can i pay that plus pay for the other car , plus pay loans and house etc.

In my house, it's not like i have a say. My dad buys things and eventually i'm going to have to pay for them.
Yeah it was his dream since he was a young guy. We're from a poor family and he worked all his life in labor. Just now , he finally has some money to get his dream car so he did.

It's not a gift if you have to pay for it. If it's not in your budget and you don't like it, tell your father not to give it to you. It appears as though he wants it more than you do. It's time to put your foot down.

I work at a bank, you don't want to get bad credit at your age from defaulting on loans or car payments.

If he were paying that would be another story. Then I'd say enjoy it.

Your father sounds like he has a few loose screws. You won't be able to afford the insurance never mind the payments. Stay a simple man and don't run wild with your ego or else you'll have more problems then you bargained for.
