extremely loud. anyone else? I have swapped them from side to side to see if there was a direction tread problem...

I Have A 2007 Chevy Cobolt. I Dont Know What Kind Of Tires Are On The Car. It Has Whatever Tires Came With It. Car Only Has 10,000 Miles On It,but I Dont Hear Any Noise

I have the same car - when this happened to me, a dealership told me that I needed new rims. I decided to get a second opinion, and the next dealership (in Vermont) told me that my roaters needed to be resurfaced, and it worked great! Best of all, my warranty covered it. Not only did it take care of the noise, the steering wheel also stopped shaking. I don't have Douglas tires though - I have Goodyear's.

it must be the road because i have those on my car and they don,t make any noise.

I Would Say That Your Tires Are Cupped, Or Wore Badly, Or It Could Just Be The Tires Al Together. To Fix Your Noise Problem You Need To Replace All 4 Of Your Tires,

Another Possibility Is That You May Have A Wheel Bearing That Is Going Bad, Which Can Also Cause A Similar Noise

Before You Replace Your Tires, Have A Mechanic At A Trusted Local Shop Check Your Wheel Bearings,(dealers Will Always Try To Up Sell You On More Work)
