I have a 2000 chevy malibu and my fuel pump went out.?

autozone.com has a do it yourself section, you just put your car info in.

its an easy job, the fuel pump most of the time is in the rear of the car and you can see it by looking near the gas tank just in hook the hoses from it pull the elec. plug and replace it.

The pump is located in the fuel tank and you will have to lower /remove the fuel cell to gain access to replace it. If you are not experienced in automotive repair it would be best to take it to a trusted mechanic.

for probably less than 20.00 you can buy the haynes manuel at any parts store. and youll have the book right next to you instead of going in and out of the house .
