the cause? there is no visable signs of leaking and there appears to be rust on the dip stick which may or may not be part of this problem.
i have add coolant every couple of weeks
there are leaks on the raditor or the any of the hoses
i mean there are no leaks on the hoses or raditor disregard what i said before

start it up an then check for leaks on the front of the block, (water pump). their is a plug on the bottom of it that blows out when the pump seizes up to protect the engine. thats where it will leak from if thats your problem. if not let me know ive got another suggestion.

put a table spoon of pepper in your radiator it will seal up any leaks if u have any if not it won't hurt it also check your oil and see if its a brownish cream if so you have a leak in your head gaskets and its leaking though there
