I have a 1975 CHEVY NOVA?

With 350 engine,4 barrel carburetor and 700r transmission. But i have a straight 6 rear end...so can my car drive normal or do i need a V8 rear end to drive safely?
the rear end that i have now used to work with a straight 6 motor and old school 350 turbo transmission.

so will my rear end work well with the 700r and 350 engine?? will my transmission be able to switch gears?

it all should work
drive line might be different
but the rear end should work with any tranny
i know many people that just switch the engine and leave everything else the same
it also depends on how hard you are going to use it
if its hard i would suggest a 12 bolt
for daily driving and other stuff 10 bolt would be fine
also you can change the gears depending on how you want the engine to work
the lower the gears the worse the top end will be but a really good bottom and quick pining
the higher the better the top end will be with a horrible bottom end
