I dropped a piece of plastic in the oil well of my 2007 chevrolet silverado...

...how do i get it out? i was putting in new oil and i accidentally dropped a piece of plastic in there and i want to know how i can get it out?

if its small enough you can pull the drain plug. otherwise you'll have to un bolt the entire drain pan.

If you can't get it through the oil filler hole, you'll have to remove the valve cover. If it's a small piece of plastic, it probably wont hurt anything, buy why take chances.
