I can't get my key out of my chevrolet cobalt...?

After I put my car in park, and I go to turn the car off, once in a while my key won't turn all the way to off... so i have to keep flipping the key from on to off until it turns all the way so i can take it out... has anyone else had this problem?

yes i had this problem many times, it is either the transmission does not go to the park right or the key is bad, when you park the car and transmission on park try to push the car if it moves, it means the transmission shifter did not go to park all the way, it is like you are trying to take the key out when the transmission is on D. if the car does not move, it means the Key is bad
