Went and bought my first Suburban today! 1991 1/2 ton, w/ a 4" lift. LOVE driving the thing. My son and I have nicknamed it "The Beast"! Tomorrow I clean it up and give it the full treatment. It's very cool. Pic's once I get it cleaned up. Be looking to you guys for support... so stay tuned!!! Lovin' it! :D
 
Congratulations!
Mine is 2wd. I plan on going the other direction. I am lowering it to get better handling and maybe a little better mpg.

It would be nice to have a 2wd as well.. be great for camping in the summer and pulling the trailer. This is great tho'.. how many other cars can you go under easily to check things without having to jack it up? Ha! :rolleyes:

That's true. The other day I dropped the driveshaft to replace the trans rear seal. Didn't have to get the jack. I can't even change the oil in the wife's Cadi without raising it. :)
