out a I6 for a V8.? I believe a swap is as simple as nuts and bolts. I also believe the body and frame are the same in all first generation camaro. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank You.....

For being a 1967 model you have a wide variety of choices to go with since emissions arent a problem but the swap is pretty simple just the engine mounts may be different but they can be removed and replaced with new ones. transmission may be diefferent. and when changing transmission..the cross members are different and so will the drive shaft.

a v-8 will bolt right dude if you plan a big block maybe springs so it doesn't sag in the front but other than that easy to do no modifications really

you'll probably need to have new motor mounts welded in for the V-8 and a different cross member for the transmission, but it should be a simple procedure on a '67
