How to unlock radio in a 2002 chevy malibu?

i switched the radio from my old smashed car to my new car cause it was better, but now the radio only displays the time and "LOCKED" how do i unlocked it without paying a **** ton of money at a dealership? its a used hand car... and the radio isnt worth anything compared to what they would charge to unlock it.
