How to title my corvette?

I am a college student about to purchase my first corvette. I still live at home and am on a shared policy with my mom(we each have a car now). Although I am buying it, would I be better off putting the car in my mom's name in order to get cheaper insurance?

mom's name probably won't be any cheaper as you have to be declared as the 'vette principle driver anyway,so just stay shared policy.
