What I would do is go to the salvage yard and get the handle- the kind of yard that lets you pull your own parts. You can learn how to do the job on something that is no real risk. The panel should be no problem getting off. Use a butter knife to pop loose the clips that hold the inner panel prying carefully in the edge. The hardest is getting the window crank off, but take a rag and slip it behind the handle and rotate it around to liberate the spring clip that holds the handle on and be careful to not let it fly away. The door handle on the inside will come off when you loosen the screws. Inside the door, you'll see the bolts that hold on the outside handle and the operating rods for the latch and lock. You can do it. If you get confused, the hardware on the other door is still attached and you can look at it and see how everything fits together the right way. Chiltons Auto Repair manual will show exactly how to do it. All you have to do is look at it in the library.
