How to replace a alternator belt in a 1998 chevy malibu...?

The engine is a 2.4L twin cam, and honestly i can't find more than one bolt for the alternator and it's stressing me out!
Someone tell me please that i can just stretch and pull on the damn belt and put it on that way with out having to take off the alternator!

HELP..
the belt tentioner would be the silver looking thing that looks like a pully only it doesn't have any "grooves" in it? Kind of like a guide looking thing?

it should be a serpentene belt with a diagram under the hood follow this diagram the belt is simple to install.

suggest you might be able to,without damaging the belt,by placing the belt on the largest pulley last, but there should be 2 bolts to loosen on the alternator , for it to slide forward easily.
