Not even a week after I got my car in July, I had gotten a flat tire. Unfortunately, no one has ever given me a walk through on how to change the tire myself. A friend of mine said he knew how to change a tire, so we got the jack that came with the car out of the truck, along with the spare. He proceeded to change it, when the car fell down on top of the jack. This bent the body right behind the front left tire. =[
I'm not exactly sure if it was his fault, if he didn't have the car propped up correctly, or what. Maybe the jack was cheap and couldn't even support the weight of the car, who knows. Either way, I'm going to need to get body work. The dealership had told me this after I asked them what was causing my driver side door to not shut (unless the door is locked) occasionally.
It's bent upwards, and I would say it's minor damage, fixable. But does anyone know how much it would cost to fix it?
