how much horsepower does a 1988 Chevy Nova have?

the speedometer goes up to 85, and small cars kind of bug me, its the 4 cyl engine, so i was going to add a cold air intake and a ECU chip for probably 20-30 added horsepower..

i want this car to be able to hit atleast 100 just because it needs to handle on the highway and what not

It may ALREADY be capable of close to 100MPH stock. You see, the 85MPH speedos were a requirement back when we still had the STUPID 55MPH max speed limit. MOST cars could go much faster than 85.
