How much are the new Corvettes selling for?

Suddenly EVERYONE seems to have one of the new Corvettes, which seems weird, since I thought they were one of the most expensive cars, and I don't really live in a very rich area.

I could be wrong. I thought the same thing about Mustangs, to find out they were actually not that much.
Jeez, you could buy a house for that.
 
Depending on what options and features you want, anywhere from $49000 for a base model to $120,000 for a ZR1
