how many gallons of antifreeze do I need for a flush and stuff for a 1987 chevy nova?

I am doing a radiator flush and refill of my 1987 chevy nova and I want to know just how much antifreeze I need to buy and how many gallon it should hold so that I know whether there is a blockage or anything.

after it's flushed it will probably take about a gallon and a half of coolant. because there will still be water in the block from the flush, pour straight antifreeze in for the first half gallon then mix the other half gallon with water. DO NOT USE 50/50 PRE MIXED, USE GREEN FOR 1987.
