How long can I expect a 2001 corvette to last if it has 88,000 miles on the odometer?

The car right now is in great shape but I'm having second thoughts about buying it because of the amount of mileage on it. Any thoughts about the reliability of that brand?

The LS1 motor is rock solid, my 98 has 112K or something like that...doesn't use a drop of oil, no smoke...still nice and tight. I've seen LS1 motors break the 200K mark...naturally it depends on upkeep, the abuse it takes and some luck...

I say buy it and have fun!(provided the price is right)

That is not high mileage for any vehicle over that period of time. However, because it is a Corvette, they are not the easiest to work on, and that is where your future cost is. Info about who drove it before would be helpful too if you know. A middle aged man or woman, or a younger person?
