How do you turn on a '95 Chevy Silverado remotely?

I bought a '95 Chevy Silverado and the previous owner turned it on remotely to show me, but i don't know how. Please help!
Yes, he started it in front of me and he gave me a remote control. He didn't take out anything from the car also.
